Just when you think that if Spring doesn’t come soon you will surely lose your mind there is the first crocus siting and you know that somehow Life will go on! This week all the college kids on my block were out half-naked playing beer pong and dancing in their yards, riding their skateboards through the streets. Spring really is here!

I say this Full Moon is my favorite of the year because I really enjoy working the energies of these two signs. The Sun in mutable Water sign Pisces, ruled by Neptune, is the dive into the unknown, the numinous space where all is lost and all is found, the great ocean of consciousness. Intuition resides in this level of awareness, flashes of insight and directives from angels and guides come through as dreams, as gentle taps on your shoulder, as reminders we are spiritual beings having a physical experiences in this fascinating circus of life.
The moon in mutable Earth sign Virgo, ruled by Mercury (though I think will ultimately be ruled by harvest goddess Ceres) is practical, directive, organized, concerned and focused on doing things the right way to get the desired results.
Pisces takes you off into realms of psychedelic revelations. Virgo shows you how to use the insights to deal best with the world. Pisces tells you to buy the winning lottery ticket. Virgo shows you how to best use the winnings. Pisces tells you what song is next coming on the radio. Virgo makes sure you don’t miss your turn off the highway as you’re singing. Pisces lets you know what’s happening with loved ones living far away. Virgo helps you organize your phone so you easily call them to validate your psychic hit.
This Full Moon is heavy to Pisces as Neptune, ruler of Pisces, is conjunct the Sun. The Sun is at 19 degrees Pisces, Neptune at 18 degrees Pisces. You could easily get carried away with pandemic fears and visions of the Black Death. All your fears could be front and center (especially if you’re disease-phobic) and Neptune will take you to the very edges of your hysteria but Virgo steps in telling you to wash your hands, to keep your immune system functioning at its best (is your cannabinoid system clicked into maximum functioning? Try the CBD i love so much! I have some in stock!), to continue to bring joy and laughter into your life, to keep your own life force energy high.
Fear lowers your immune system while keeping you in a lower state of vibration. The truth is you will depart this life some day and you might as well be giggling all the way to the very end. You can worry yourself all the way to the finish line but to what end? You’re going to get there anyway, you might as well enjoy every moment you are here. Virgo loves to help but make sure you help yourself before you try to help someone else.
Full Moons are opportunities each month to release. I encourage you to release FEARS and allow yourself to fully inhabit your incarnation with joy, with appreciation, with wonder. We know it’s a wild ride on the planet these days and it always has been. To riff on beloved poet Mary Oliver (Sun, Venus, Neptune in Virgo, Saturn in Pisces): what will you do with this one wild ride that is your life?
Worry yourself to death or live until you die?
Mercury stations DIRECT as the Moon turns Full on March 9. And not a moment too soon. This retrograde cycle has pretty much had everyone on the planet tied in knots. A few nights this week I slept 12 hours straight through! Well almost straight through. Arthur woke me with his wee hour kitty feeding request which he accomplishes by jumping on my head as I sleep.
As you can imagine -that’s fun!
