Dreamy snowscape as SUPERMOON turns FULL in Gemini 12.4.25
A dreamy snowscape envelops my neck of the woods as the promise of winter is fulfilled. The Winter Solstice falls on December 21, the shortest day of the year in the Northern hemisphere (longest in the Southern hemisphere) after which the days grow longer as we move inexorably towards the Summer Solstice in June. I always am comforted by the unfolding of the cycles, so much more vast than my humdrum concerns.
Before the Solstice, on December 19 is the most powerful New Moon of the year, conjunct as it is the Galactic Center, at 28 degrees Sagittarius. An epic time of pure potential. A potent time to set your intentions for what next you wish to experience in your life.
In the meantime, feel into the vibration of the Full Moon in Gemini, opposite the Sun in Sagittarius, looking to what needs to be released before you can fully dig in
to your intention-setting.
Often when you ask someone what it is they want they will answer: “Well, I don’t want this and I don’t want that.” Uh huh. And what is it that you DO want? Clarifying what you DO want will help you release from your mind (Gemini) what may be hindering you from fully stepping into what you DO want (Sagittarius – your expanded self).
At the Full Moon, rule-breaker Uranus exactly opposes Black Moon Lilith, the shadow.
Revealing and releasing what lurks in the shadows of your psyche can ultimately liberate you from any parts of the old story that keeps you from moving into the NEW.
By February 2026 Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, and Saturn will all be moving forward in their new signs and it will no longer feel good to live in any of the old paradigms that no longer fit your expanding self.
