Take a really deep breath as we each enter this Aries blast of energy, never seen or experienced in our lives or the lives of anyone who could remember. Saturn and Neptune last converged in Aries in 4361 B.C. I certainly can’t remember back that far. This New Moon at 28 degrees Aries joins not only Saturn at 7 degrees Aries and Neptune at 2 degrees Aries but is also joined by Chiron at 26 degrees Aries, Mars at 6 degrees Aries and Mercury at 3 degrees Aries. WOWZA!

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, the cardinal Fire sign that leads the way for the journey around the wheel. Aries energy is new, vibrant, feisty, courageous, risk-taking, adventurous,
self- assured, self- confident, and ready for anything that feels new and exciting, Mars is the ruler of Aries and is often thought of as war-like and aggressive. This week I had an entirely different beat on the expression of Aries energy and that happened while watching RuPaul’s Drag Race. Talk about courage! The courage to express one’s true essence, especially when it comes up against mainstream social mores is the quintessential vibration of Aries. Willing to risk everything to put the SELF (Aries) as one sees oneself out into the world. And the fabulousness with which the drag queens display their essence is nothing short of jaw-dropping. A resounding “I’m here!” will be heard round the globe.
Each of us has courage that can astound and awe, the courage to be YOU, your own unique expression of the Divine Spark. Talk about exciting!! These energies are amplified by the energy of the New Moon being so close to Chiron. Old fears of stepping out, of showing the real you, fears from this lifetime, and others, from programming, from lineage stories, are in healing process now where you might be very surprised at what you have the courage and fortitude to do in the coming weeks and months. VERY exciting!
Saturn and Neptune in Aries support the real time manifestation of long-held dreams and desires. Mercury conjoining Mars in Aries can sharpen your mind and your tongue so think, take a breath, before spewing out whatever rises to the surface of your mind.
Venus at 21 degrees Taurus conjoins Uranus at the anoretic degree of Taurus, 29 degrees, the very last degree of Taurus before Uranus enters Gemini on April 26. Taurus energies help ground the whole fire blast of Aries energy. Communing with the Nature beings in any and all ways helps to ground and center yourself. Seek out beauty in all things.
Jupiter transiting Cancer will also help to soften the fiery energy of Aries. Cancer reminds us to honor your feelings and to love the mother energy of nurturing and comfort.
