The Sun conjoins Uranus – 5.18.25 Rockin” and Rollin’!
This past Full Moon seems to have shaken some things up with issues of betrayal and loss, abrupt endings and hearts broken. Not for me personally (thanks for caring) but for those in my sphere and perhaps in your sphere as well. I went to Nordstrom Rack and purchased 3 new pairs of shoes (though I really fantasize about a new silver Prius) so I guess that’s my way of saying that I am gearing up for walking new ways, taking new paths, feeling into changes that are on the horizon for me personally and for me as citizen of a world in flux.
The Sun is approaching its yearly exact conjunction with Uranus on May 18 when the Sun and Uranus will be conjunct at 27 degrees Taurus. If you have planets or angle points at 27 degrees, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, or Aquarius you could have a wake-up call. Wake-up calls don’t have to be dramatic, like the break-up scenarios I have been hearing about, but Uranus does like to shake things up to make way for ushering in the NEW. In the way of how things happen, making way for the NEW usually necessitates shifts in the present reality. Think about how a family shifts when a new baby enters the world or someone brings a new partner into the mix. Shedding the old is only really challenging when you cling to what needs to be released, what is now becoming the past. As with all planetary transits, you may feel the energy quite strongly or it might just be a blip on your screen. Pay attention to the internal shifts occurring in you as they will alert you to changes that will manifest in your external world.
Your external circumstances are a direct reflection of your inner condition. Chaos inside, chaos outside. Calm and peace inside, calm and peace outside, regardless the swirling energies around you. I look to the faeries and the wild ones that live with us. I find their energy to be the most soothing and comforting. I mean really, how can you not smile when you see a California poppy wearing a faerie cap? (see picture above).
Neptune has entered Aries and Saturn will enter Aries on May 26th. This is a major shift in energy from Neptune transiting Pisces for the last 14 years and Saturn transiting Pisces for the last 2 and 1/2 years. The shift from the dreamy watery realms of Pisces to the action-oriented energy of Aries will feel quite different. Where the early degrees of Aries fall in your birth chart will show you where you will be feeling this shift most significantly. If you have planets or angle points at zero- or one-degree Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn you will be feeling this energetic shift and it could be fabulous as where you have been stuck in the mud you could finally get some traction and be moving forward. Dreams can be put into form at long last. Amen to that!
Neptune and Saturn will be conjunct in February 2026 at zero degrees Aries, though the effect of the shift into Aries has begun and will be felt for many years. You will hear MUCH astro chatter about this conjunction as the last time Neptune and Saturn conjoined in Aries was in 1703. And who can remember that? Things will be falling away as you allow for the NEW to come in. We humans are so much better at holding on than letting go but letting go is the theme lesson of our times! The Saturn-Neptune conjunction will be felt for many months. Planetary shifts like this one are not a one-off – it’s an ongoing process. Love yourself through every part of it. You are birthing a new iteration of yourself and that requires unconditional love and support for YOU!

Uranus will be changing signs, moving from Taurus where it’s been for 7 years, into Gemini, where it will be for 7 years on July 8.
