What can I say but that there is so much happening on so many levels all at once that it truly is the most interesting of times. With the ingress of Pluto into Fixed Air Aquarius earlier this year and both Saturn and Neptune just moving into Cardinal Fire Aries, you’d think that would be plenty to work with but, as we know, the cosmos does not consult with us in timing.
In years like 2025 there is so much planetary shifting going on, it’s like we’re on a river raft being tossed and turned in Level 5 rapids and some us don’t have life jackets and have never been on the river before. It’s a wild ride. Know it! Extra self-care required.
Jupiter enters Cardinal Water Cancer for a year on June 9. Jupiter last transited Cancer June 25, 2013 through July 16, 2014 It’s hard to recall yesterday, let alone 12 years ago, but what you were expanding and growing into at that time is probably the same area of your life in this Jupiter transit through Cancer as well. Jupiter in Cancer will help soothe some of the fiery Air energy of Aquarius (air) and Aries (fire). Feel into the Jupiter shift from Air Gemini to Water Cancer so you know how to best use the energy for more self-care and more LOVE towards yourself and others. Intuition will be highlighted. Moodiness may be rampant in response to external events. Work on cultivating self-care practices (like breathing) to keep yourself most settled and able to integrate new energies coming in with ease and grace. It’s easy to cultivate LOVE when all is going to your liking. The real challenge is committing to the cultivation of LOVE when horrific events come close to home, when things you hold precious are threatened, like FREEDOM to be who you are, to live and speak your truth.
Mercury also enters Cancer on June 9th where it will be support staff to Jupiter through June 27. Communication will be more intuitive, more emotionally responsive, more nurturing.
The Sagittarian Full Moon opposing the Sun in Gemini challenges you to release thought forms that are outdated and that may not even be yours. Discernment definitely requires weeding out outdated thought forms. While I was doing some much need weeding in the front yard this morning I was struck by how each weed needs to be extracted individually, requiring discernment and actually looking at the plants to see which ones stay and which ones become compost. So it is with looking very closely at your thoughts (especially the repetitive ones) to discern if they fit in your thought garden or are ready for the compost pile. And let us not forget that weeding needs to be done on a consistent basis. This Full Moon in Sagittarius is particularly helpful for some deep weeding, guided by higher knowing and the quest for the essential truth of yourself.
