When I think of Sagittarius this RED color comes to mind – the fiery intensity of the mutable Fire sign, ruled by bigger-than-life Jupiter, passionate, driven by some big vision cause. Dynamic, funny, charming, and usually the life of the party, Sagittarius is prone to exaggeration and, when distorted – fanaticism. Sag energy is definitely fun! And we so need a hefty dose of fun these days. It is easy to fall into despair (what a slippery slope that is) and hopelessness so no more important time to nurture your tender heart than with a good, roaring laugh. My mother always said that you don’t have to look very far to find something to cry about, so spend at least that much energy to find things to be joyous about. How about the color of these poinsettias? WOWZA!!
I can already feel the intensity and focus of the upcoming New Moon at 28 degrees Sagittarius, exactly conjunct the Galactic Center. Such a powerful energy of creating the NEW. A perfect New Moon to align with your core energy, tell yourself the truth about everything (Sag is a zealot for truth), and set your intentions with clarity and happiness for what you want to create, experience, and affect in the coming months.
Not only are the Sun and the Moon conjoining in Sagittarius but Venus and Mercury are also expressing themselves in Sagittarian vibe. Venus at 24 degrees Sagittarius conjoins the New Moon, giving a glow of LOVE optimism. Set your intentions with LOVE (Venus) and expanded thinking (Mercury). I heard a really interesting thing from Lee Harris, channeling a group called the Z’s. They said, through him, and I’m paraphrasing: “The mind only knows what it has already experienced. To create the NEW you must engage with your heart.”
