Winter shadows
I’ve noticed a few very significant things about how I am navigating these volatile times. First and foremost is the time thing. I feel like I move seemlessly from linear time into some hyper-time or even no time. I also notice that the quiet inside me is taking up space that used to be occupied with worry and catastrophizing. There is a sense of being in the eye of the hurricane, quiet and still, as debris of all sorts flies around me, a disruptive path of clearing and release. The quiet is allowing me to tap deeply into my own creative urges, something I recommend for us all these days – remember and nurture your desires to create, in any and all ways that resonate with you.
And connecting with Nature through the winter months, rejoicing in shadows cast by the afternoon sun and the pebble-colored bunnies foraging for tiny grass shoots pushing up through the snow. Focusing entirely on the miraculous in all things.
February promises to be quite a momentous month for movement towards the NEW in ways we can hardly imagine but is latent in our creative intelligence, individually and collectively. The more relaxed you can be, the more the divine guidance of your own master intelligence can communicate with you, directing you to places, people, circumstances, and information that is perfectly aligned with your vibration. Seek out vibrational resonance with all things. If something doesn’t feel good, choose something else. Aquarian energy wants to liberate, to free.
The easiest thing to choose differently is your thoughts. Notice when unwanted thoughts start to crowd up in your mindscape. Bid them adieu and replace with thoughts that uplift, thoughts that align you with LOVE. Think about a beloved or a favorite song or flowers or the moon. You are responsible for tending your emotional landscape. No one can do it for you. This is true Aquarian freedom – choosing your own experience of whatever is happening. Simple, but not easy. As we move into the new Aquarian paradigm we each have to learn to work with the new energy. Like learning how to drive a stick shift car and then learning to drive an electric one! Mastering the new energies coming in will require a learning curve so be patient with yourself, no matter what. Release judgment on yourself as you embrace learning the new.
Aquarian energy is so amped up this month, extra grounding is required! The Sun at 13 degrees Aquarius is joined by Pluto at 3 degrees Aquarius, Mars at 7 degrees Aquarius, Venus at 19 degrees Aquarius and Mercury at 21 degrees Aquarius. Expect the unexpected, Know that many new things will be coming into our reality, things of Aquarian nature – global vision, desire for equality and freedom, revolutionary energies to break up old, outworn systems of thought and action. Many ‘ah-ha’ moments that rattle the status quo. All in perfect timing. And you chose to be here for these most interesting of times! We all did.
The Full Moon at 13 degrees Leo opposes all of those Aquarian planets, within a 10 degree orb. When Leo subsumes the ego and becomes ”of the people” there is no end to the change potential unlocked in this lunation. Big-hearted Leo encourages play and creativity and dancing and singing and all things joyous. Find your moments of joy and revel in them.
Uranus is stationed at 27 degrees Taurus, ever so slowly moving forward. Uranus is the ruler of Taurus and, as is evident, is creating all kinds of dramatic Earth events (Taurus), pushing a radical, overhaul agenda to liberate Earth herself and her many, varied inhabitants.
Neptune entered Aries on January 27. Saturn will join Neptune at zero degrees Aries on February 15. They will be conjunct 15 February -22 February.
The NEW Moon Solar Eclipse on February 17 welcomes the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse, saying bye bye to the skin shedding year of the Wood Snake that is now passing.
