Wow! The first Full Moon of 2024 at 5 degrees LEO is, like everything else these days, full of powerful energies that you can and will harness in your own unique way. Pluto has entered Aquarius and is conjunct the Sun. If you have planets or points at 0-10 degrees of any of the fixed signs – Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, or Aquarius – you have oodles of energies available to you to begin to make some significant changes in your life. Don’t panic. I already feel you holding your breath. Changes can mean changes in the physical, which seem to be most challenging for most of us as we do get accustomed to our ways, and yet change can be as simple and profound as letting go of an old story that is no longer valid. Change can be finally forgiving yourself for being human, for making ‘mistakes’ and for occasionally, and maybe too often, holding lower vibration feelings of doubt, mistrust, and fear. You forget you have a choice as to where to focus your attention. You do. Notice when you forget. Then make a new choice, a new focus for your attention.
Plutonian aspects, especially this activated T-Square – Pluto conjoins the Sun and opposes the Moon, and the entire Sun-Pluto-Moon lunation makes a square to Jupiter in Taurus – will give you the opportunity to dig deep inside yourself to find the best way to address whatever area of your chart that gets triggered by the T-square. A T-square has some inherent instability in that the ‘missing leg’ is whatever is happening in the sign not represented, in this case that sign being Scorpio. Ah..the weaving of energies and experiences becomes more complex as Pluto is the planetary ruler of Scorpio and so the double message of ‘going deep” is amplified. If you are able to hear the message, it will be a unique call to you specifically, for you to become aware of what is next for you that you want to experience. You get to choose how you experience whatever you create in your reality. I think it’s super important to rejoice and acknowledge where you are at, whatever interests you, and to feed your Heart/LOVE energy as much heartful love as possible.
Leo Supermoon radiates warm, full-hearted LOVE with a playful feel. Leo can also be pretty dramatic as you or those around you could activate and engage in drama, specifically around Ego stuff like hurt feelings, feeling invalidated or just bad communication. Drama might work great for you and it feeds you to get into the fray. But for many sensitive types, that type of drama can be emotionally triggering so do what Arthur would do – find a sunny spot and be with yourself or – GET CREATIVE! Make something, dance something, sing something. Celebrate being alive, even when it is hard.
Mercury and Mars are conjunct in Capricorn. Watch for being too bossy or authoritative or Saturnian judgmental (harsh!). Use this energy to speak with your powerful personal energy, not to overtake, but to be a true presentation of yourself. Being yourself, free of others’ emotions and feelings, is your most effective and powerful stance for navigating these exciting times. I would like to give honor to Lee Harris for channeling a group he calls the Z’s, who so perfectly expressed this practice of releasing emotions and feelings that are not yours and having to cleanse yourself frequently of this habit in order to free yourself to be YOU. I really resonate with this and if you do too, this Martian energy can be used to quite quickly clear your cache of thoughts/feelings that are not yours. Great idea! I’m going to do that myself!
Venus just entered Capricorn. This first Full Moon of 2024, the first of a series of SUPERMOONS, feels very significant in re-setting your program for a different, more holographically aligned with yourself, kind of year moving forward. That really does sound good to me.
