These cosmic waves are most definitely testing patience (give me patience and give it to me now!) and clocking yourself on how seriously you are taking all the minor mishaps, delays, cancellations, techno errors, and general curfuffles that you probably are experiencing with loving joy and merriment from Mercury doing mischief as he moves retrograde in Aries until April 25. If you ever been caught in a rainstorm with an umbrella that turns inside out and now you’re completely soaked to the bone and the umbrella needs to be trashed – all you really can do is laugh. And as soon as you laugh (which could easily turn into hysterical giggles – mine do, for sure) everything gets more tolerable, more acceptable, more life-affirming. And life-affirming is your assignment. I take THAT seriously. What can I do today to affirm LIFE?

Full Moon in Scorpio invites you to take a deep dive into your emotional world, where undoubtedly you will uncover patterns and pearls that have influenced how you experience your present life. Just having those moments of self-awareness, begins the process to discern if these emotional patterns are serving you or not. If not, time to start investigating (Scorpio is the master detective) to find out what you can do to release those from running the show – your show.

This Full Moon makes a really tight square aspect to Pluto at 2 degrees Aquarius. Deep emotional grooves in your personal design will be challenging you to a major overhaul of non-supportive emotional patterns. This reminds me of Anais Nin’s genius “And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” That’s what I’m saying. For you, in the areas of your chart where you have planets or points in fixed signs between 2 and 4 degrees something deep is stirring from quiet places inside your own consciousness. Interesting to track. And helpful to know what growth spurts are coming your way. You can prepare yourself to be open to the experience.

Mars at 24 degrees Pisces conjoins Neptune at 28 degrees Pisces. And we know Saturn is still in Pisces, now at 16 degrees Pisces. That’s a whole lot of confusion, delusion, and illusion being actively triggered in the collective and perhaps for you personally. It’s really important to stay grounded in these chaotic times. The more grounded you are the more you will inhabit your body, which will help you make good decisions, well better, at the very least.

The Jupiter-Uranus conjunction on April 21st at 21 degrees Taurus precedes the Full Moon by a few days. You may very well have a momentous ah-ha! moment, a breakthrough, an expansion, an epiphany, a revelation, a revolution, an evolutionary step forward. Where this conjunction sits in your chart, and if it triggers planets or points in your chart, will probably be the areas in your life where these shifts in consciousness can occur. And then something is different, better, more aligned with your own personal genius, your own creative energy. Exciting!

Mercury retrograde in Aries

Mercury has been playing all kinds of mischief with me personally. I have to remind myself daily that Mercury in retrograde motion is not only a mischief-maker, it’s a magic maker. Magic can only happen when you let go of the process, let go of trying to control everything, and allow the flow of the Law of Attraction to bring what you are desiring. SO if you get angry and frustrated and even hateful in response to things happening in your world then you will inevitably attract more of that. If you can let yourself get lighter, let go more and even find the humor in the mishaps, you will attract more things that will make you laugh. Oooh! It can be very hard work, I know, but essential at this time to keep your vibration raising and not be seduced into darkness by the actions of others and by your own fears. The simplest way I have found to raise my vibration is to be thankful for anything and everything, I usually start with that I am grateful for having a safe place to live, a warm bed to sleep in. I get really simple, really basic.

Mercury moves retrograde until April 25.

Mercury is now at 20 degrees Aries, moving back to 15 degrees Aries.

After April 25, when Mercury stations direct, Mercury will move forward and will hit 27 degrees Aries (the degree where it began moving retrograde on April 2) on May 15.

Mercury enters Taurus on May 16. That should be a calming, grounding influence after all the Aries warring.
I am so over the warring.

The times they are a rockin’ and rollin’ and we with them. I cannot recall any other time in my life that requires the use of every one of my metaphysical tools than right now. By metaphysical tools I mean tuning in and listening to my intuition, following my higher guidance, spending time in Nature to ground my body in the earth (preferably with my shoes off). resting when I feel tired, eating fresh foods (no sugar) and MOST IMPORTANTLY, being aware and discerning about what thoughts I entertain and where I am putting my focus of attention. It’s full -time work, no doubt about it. But right now, it’s essential.

The Jupiter-Uranus conjunction occurring at 21 degrees Taurus on April 21 is a moment of potential breakthrough in consciousness on a global scale. You only have to do your part and let everyone else do theirs. Where 21 degrees Taurus falls in your chart and what planets or points that conjunction will stimulate, can guide you as to where your breakthrough in consciousness is occurring, where you can be the contributor to our much needed evolution as a species.

The day before the big dump of snow this past week I was messing around in the garden cutting back lemon balm stalks from last season and clearing out some fall leaves when I was visited by this lovely ladybug and a few of her ladybug friends. A sure sign of Spring making its way to the prairie. Spring can be such a tease, thrilling you with new growth and old garden visitors and then dropping deeply into the low temps, even as the Sun shines. I feel that in my own Spring movement as well. Stepping forward with some new things and then retreating back into blankets of the familiar cocooning of the past few years. I’m tracking both
Venus, Mars, Saturn and Neptune moving through Pisces and how those energies have created a foggy haze around the areas of my chart where they are lingering. Following the movement of the planets and their influence on my chart helps me to stay sane in these volatile times.

The big New Moon Solar eclipse at 21 degrees Aries that pretty much everyone is talking about will occur on April 8th. Many of us in the States will have a great view of the eclipse and even if you only see part of it…wear the special glasses as the Sun’s rays are powerful, even if you’re seeing just part of them! And if you’ve ever seen an eclipse you know it’s pretty hard not to look! Eclipses have a 3 degree orb of influence so if you have planets or significant points on either side of 21 Aries (18-24 degrees Aries) you will be experiencing a direct hit, areas in your life that are up for shift, change, and new growth.

In between the eclipses Mercury turns retrograde!

Ha! Just when you thought you might have a bit of reprieve from whatever stuff might be playing out in your world, Mercury goes retrograde in Aries. Mercury will be a few retrograde (moving backwards) degrees from the New Moon Solar Eclipse on April 8. You might take some risks in your communication, speaking out with courage where you might have held back before. Watch for effects that might have on others and be open to learning from your bravery.

You might have to revisit communication you have had before and maybe re-do some of what needs re-addressing. Glitches are to be expected. Navigate them with diplomacy (Libra – the opposite end of the spectrum from Aries) and grace! Remember Aries is ruled by Mars and Mars needs to tempered with LOVE to be most effective. Start by loving yourself and move on from there.
