Full Moon in Libra 4.5.23
A wet Spring snow is blowing through today, moistening the dry earth in my hood. By the weekend flowers just peeking through Winter’s leaf mulch will be in full bloom. The cycles of the seasons, the changing weather, the shifts in our environment by forces beyond our control, humbles me. The cycles of the planets, the Moon’s intimate relationship with everything happening here on Earth, bringing influences so beyond our control – it’s a wonder our heads don’t just spin off in absolute wonder. Mine does that occasionally, for sure.
The Full Moon in Libra, the first Full Moon after the Spring Equinox, goes right to the very core of our existence – RELATIONSHIP.
We cannot exist outside relationship, whether it’s with other people, the animal and plant kingdom, or the Great Earth herself.
The Full LIBRA Moon illuminates RELATIONSHIP. HAHA! Buckle up…it’s quite a ride.
Opposing the Full Moon are the Sun, Jupiter and Chiron all in the impatient, fiery, what-about-me? sign of Aries. What a powerful dynamic to really SEE the essence of relationship, beginning with the all-important one – the one you have with yourself. Jupiter at 20 degrees Aries and Chiron minutes away from an exact conjunction with the Sun at 16 degrees
Aries begs the question: Am I being totally myself in my relationships or am I compromising some of myself, giving some of my power away, in order to sustain a relationship? The Full LIBRA Moon sheds AWARENESS, as intuitive LIGHT, into the makings of your own initial programming concerning relationship. Those first and primary relationships, where emotional attachments were, and were not, made, will be illuminated, giving you the opportunity to see what, if anything, needs healing, tweaking, aligning with your essential self.
Aries is an IMPATIENT energy. Play with that energy. Notice when impatience arises and choose healthy, non-destructive ways to neutralize any aggression that can rise out of impatience. Mastering impulsiveness is a positive step towards balancing Aries energy
with Venus-ruled Libran diplomacy.
Add to that a square between Pluto at zero degrees Aquarius and Mercury at 3 degrees Taurus. Pluto pushing at Mercury undoubtedly could engender some pretty pointed verbal exchange, but blessed with Mercury just entering the realm of Venus-ruled Taurus, LOVE can reign supreme. I got a very clear image today of the nature of Love, a phrase John Wing Flower has said often: True Power is an Act of LOVE. I’ve heard the phrase for years but today, I really got what it means. If I approach any and all situations with the intention of LOVE I am being more of who I truly am. If you stand in the energy of unconditional LOVE, LOVE being your dominant vibration, for all situations, however annoying or even horrifying, that is really bringing POWER to those situations. For sure, this takes some practice and this powerful FULL MOON can guide you exactly to how best work with that energy. Where does 16 degrees Libra-Aries fall in your birth chart? Pluto has entered Aquarius and this, my friend, is the ending of an epoch and the tiptoe into the next. Pluto defines am approximately 20-year period of deep and profound growth and transformation. Most obviously is Pluto’s expression in the collective but, trust me, if Pluto is making a confrontational aspect to any one of your birth planets or points (ascendant, midheaven) you will feel the absolute determination of Pluto to bring about significant changes in your life.
Give yourself plenty of time to nap and relax and space out. To access the wisdom of Pisces you need to be in the most psychically receptive mode, like when you meditate or dream. Your dreaming will most likely be super activated during Saturn’s transit through Pisces (the next 2 and 1/2 years). Pay attention to your dreams and what the predominant feelings that are coming through. Those feelings are powerful indicators of underlying feelings that are seeking expression.
