Mercury retrograde Madness
On Sunday last when Mercury stationed retrograde I opened my computer and everything was upside down! If you’re computer savvy, which I occasionally am, in spurts of unexpected genius, you would know that this is a SETTINGS issue and all I had to do was turn the whole laptop upside down and get to the SETTINGS and change the orientation on the visuals. I did that the next day, telling myself that this surely does not entail a trip to the Geek Squad or hailing down a 12-year old riding by on a skateboard. I waited because, miraculously, I knew that when there is a computer issue I naturally default to panic and anxiety. I have been working with this. I have finally learned that NOT EVERYTHING is a CRISIS, that things sometimes resolve themselves without my intervention, and, most importantly – I can call on outside help (always a great option!) this was something that would resolve and did not in any way need to take up energy space in me.
Hello! Not letting Mercury retrograde play with me, I engaged in the play, and the play said: “Take time doing something more enjoyable and when you are calmer and more relaxed, return to the issue and a resolution will appear.” Exactly what happened. I soothed and calmed my nervous system rather than give into some false sense of urgency. And by the way, LOTS more computer annoyances been happening all week. Laughing and doing something entirely more fun, somehow everything is working out.

All indicators for you to slow down as well. Take your time doing what needs to be done, allowing for as much down and re-charge time as possible. Mars and Jupiter conjoin this week in Gemini. Ideas will be flooding your mind. Jot down ideas. Wait for right timing to pursue the ideas that hold the most excitement and interest for you. Venus entered Virgo on August 6th. Venus will grace the High Priestess vibe of Virgo until September 23. Excellent time to sort and organize your stuff. Virgo LOVES the efficiency of simplicity.
